On Saturday, October 19th at 4 PM, Carmichael's welcomes Scott Elliott for a reading from his new novel "Temple Grove." Elliott grew up in Louisville and now teaches creative writing at Whitman College in Washington state. His new novel, set in Washington, is a gripping tale of suspense that captures in taut, luminous prose the traditions that tie people to this powerful landscape - and the conflicts that run deep among them.
