Join us for the official celebration for the 2013 New Albany Public Art Project: Bicentennial Series, with a Public Art Walk featuring the Project artists, on Saturday June 22, 2013 from 6:00-9:00 pm (rain date June 29). Visitors can drop in at the nine artworks between 6:00-9:00 pm to speak with the artists and learn more about the project themes. The 2013 themes are: Culinary Arts, Museums & History, Performing Arts & Entertainment, and Visual Art & Artists. A walking tour booklet for the 2013 Public Art Project, which includes a map of the 2013 and 2012 installations, and information about the 2013 artists and historical themes, will be available at the sites. During the Art Walk, participants can make their own screenprinted poster designed by Ron Jasin of Madpixel Art and Design and facilitated by local artists and volunteers.
