On December 4-6, the Louisville Sports Commission and Bellarmine University will host the 2014 NCAA DII Fall Championship Festival where athletes compete for national championships in six different sports (women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer and women’s field hockey). All six team champions will be crowned on Saturday, December 6, along with individual champions in cross country.
More than 1,100 NCAA athletes will compete in the championships. Teams will practice and compete at Bellarmine’s Knights Hall and Owsley B. Frazier Field, the University of Louisville’s Trager Field and Louisville’s E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park. Bellarmine University is the only institution to host an NCAA Division II Championship Festival three times.
