National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness as well as provide an opportunity to promote and celebrate police-community partnerships in crime prevention efforts. “A connected neighborhood is a safer neighborhood!”
From 5 to 9 pm, residents in neighborhoods throughout the 5th Division and across
the city and the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors.
Join your neighbors in the 5th Division for great music with our Live Band, several Public Safety Displays including children’s identifications cards being made with the child’s picture, face painting, raffle prizes and much, much more.
Don’t bother to eat before you come as we plan to have free food and drinks for
everyone. It will be a fun event for all ages!
