Good grief! It's hot. The KSO's Flood Wall Jazz Quintet's has the remedy as the group promises to blow nothing but cool changes at the Devou Park Bandshell beginning 7:30 p.m. Saturday, August 6. The Flood Wall group plays a hybrid or fusion of classical and jazz idioms that result in some of the most listenable and refreshing music this side of a tall fruity number. On the program are the music of Claude Bolling, Astor Piazolla, Dave Brubeck and a special set of Vince' Guaraldi's tunes from the Peanuts collection.
The Peanuts Gang from Kings Island - Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Schroeder and Snoopy - will be joining the band and audience in the park for the Guaraldi tunes. It's not everyday you hear this music played live and have the opportunity to dance with your favorite Peanuts character! Don't forget the camera.
