A “Christmas in July” motorcycle run will be held July 7, sponsored by the Optimist Club of Bardstown. The run will begin at Walmart on Hwy 245 and will end at Rebecca’s Pepperoni Grill in Bardstown. The run will benefit the Optimist Toy Drive – which provides toys to area children who otherwise might do without – and covers a distance of about 60 miles.

Entry fee for the Christmas in July motorcycle run is $10 or a toy of equal value; the run is open to everyone, individuals or entire motorcycle clubs.
