Mote rattles bones on the regular with their dreamy, noisy grunge pop. Mote began as the songwriting partnership of guitarists Jake Philley and Sam Benanti, drawn together in late 2011 for their mutual love of indie rock’s ‘90s heyday. After a number of lineup changes, they settled on drummer Jamie Conkin and bassist Daniel Ernst and recorded their debut 7”, Dirty Water / Pull Me Apart, to be released via Ultimate Drag last fall. Florida’s psych rock powerhouse Ancient River and local heroes Skin Tone and TTOALS share the stage for this blockbuster Saturday night bill.
