Head mixologist of the historic Oakroom, Eron Plevan, will be teaching guests how to make a few of his signature cocktails. On July 17th at 7:00pm, Eron Plevan will be in Bourbon Barrel Foods’ Kitchen Studio teaching four of his favorite cocktail recipes. Along with the mixology lesson and tasting, guests will also enjoy signature snacks from Bourbon Barrel Foods. Tickets to the event are $45.00 and can be purchased by calling .

Plevan’s unique cocktail menu includes Copper Crowns are Still Crowns (Plevan’s version of an Old Fashioned), Bourbon St. Sour, Mexican Smoke Break, and Quill Pens & Kentucky Ink. Each cocktail incorporates at least one of Bourbon Barrel Foods’ gourmet ingredients and applies fundamental mixology techniques to impressive cocktails.

Plevan is a native Texan who moved to Louisville in 2006 to pursue a Masters of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2013, Plevan started working at The Oakroom as an assistant-server and is now head of the bar & cocktail program. Plevan’s enthusiasm for craft cocktails reflects in his ability to pair flavors within his unique recipes.
