The Misty Mountain String Band is Brian Vickers, Neal Green, Paul Martin, and Derek Harris--a group of musicians who have played together on several projects in various forms, but who came together in August of 2012 to play by request at an old-fashioned camp revival. Since then, they've played farmers markets, parties, cultural events, charity fundraisers, and a bourbon festival.

Drawing influence from old-time music, country, Americana, bluegrass, and songs of labor and protest, The Misty Mountain String Band harks back to the days of black lung and short life expectancy.
