The 2013 McDonald’s Thunder Preview Party will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on April 4 at Bowman Field. The event, which gives attendees at sneak peek at the Thunder show, will feature planes on display, a Coast Guard exhibit, helicopter rides, a family interactive area and a pilot “meet and greet.” Admission is a 2013 Pegasus Pin or McDonald’s Thunder Funder cup.

Thunder Over Louisville – the Derby Festival’s Opening Ceremonies – is one of the more than 70 events produced by the Derby Festival in the spring. The 2012 Thunder Over Louisville show is set for Saturday, April 20, and will be the 24th annual production.
