The Yum! Brands Foundation launched the CANstand campaign in 2010 with kids accountability in mind. Laura Melillo Barnum, Yum! Brands Foundation Executive Director states: “Yum! Brands wants to involve everyone in the family in the mission to feed the hungry. We want the youth of our community to know that whether you are six or sixty, you can make a difference in the lives of those in need.”
Chenoweth Elementary is very excited to help the fight against hunger! Principal, Mrs. Penny Deatrick adds: “Chenoweth students and staff have a heart for helping others. We are excited about working with Yum!, the Mayor and our Superintendent to Give a Day.”
Mayor Fischer will join the activities and thank the kids
for their support from 1:30pm – 2:00pm!
