Matt’s song “Got Your Back” was featured in an LL Bean National TV ad campaign in 2010. His song “Valedictorian” was featured in episodes of the ABC show Eli Stone and the Lifetime show, Army Wives. And his song “I Remember” was featured in the movie, Playing Mona Lisa. He has performed at the Winnipeg Folk Festival, Sisters Folk Festival, Kerrville Folk Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, Tondr Folk Festival in Denmark, has been a finalist in the Mountain Stage Newsong Festival, The Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and The Rocky Mountain Folks Festival. He won the Texas Grammy Songwriting Contest, sponsored by the Texas chapter of NARAS. He has toured in support of John Wesley Harding, The Weepies, Erin McKeown, and Bob Schneider. He frequently tours all over the US, Japan, and Europe.
