You'd be hard pressed to find or name any mainstream music acts who are more unique or distinct than Matisyahu. He is an Hasidic Jewish musician, and many of his songs have Jewish and Israeli themes to theme.

But his music isn't quite what you expect, as it's a blend of traditional reggae with some hip hop and rock influences. This makes him appeal to an extremely diverse collection of dedicated fans, and Matisyahu can rock out with just about any crowd that's out there if you give him a chance.
