In celebration of Bourbon Heritage Month Varanese Restaurant, 2106 Frankfort Avenue, will host a very special "Maker's Mark Bourbon Dinner" on Tuesday, September 23rd. The reception will begin at 6:30pm and the dinner at 7:00pm. The evening will feature special guest speaker and Global Ambassador for Maker's Mark Distillery Jane Conner,and a four-course dinner paired with flights and Maker's Mark Bourbon cocktails. Maker's Mark bourbon is distilled about an hour outside of Louisville in Loretto, Kentucky and is known for its flavor and iconic hand-dipped bottles. Although Bill Samuels, Sr. began production in 1954, it wasn't until four years later when they developed the unique red wax seal. The cost is $55 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
