The mission of Ohio Valley Creative Energy (OVCE) is to educate the public about sustainability through the creation of art and the exploration of innovative design. The proposed OVCE Sustainable Arts & Education Center will be located near the Clark-Floyd landfill in Southern Indiana and will be powered by its excess methane. This alternative energy source will initially be used to power ceramic, glass, and metal studios and eventually will grow to include a gallery, a greenhouse, and an education center. Learn about the history and plans of the organization from OVCE board members. For more information, visit www.ohiovalleycreativenergy.org. Bring your own lunch, drinks are provided. Free, but registration required (812-944-7336). Sponsored by the Carnegie Center, Inc.
