Andrew Lloyd Webber’s magnificent Requiem was composed in memory of his father and is a remarkable counterpoint to the popular scores for which he is widely known. Though recordings of the Requiem have been extremely popular, the work is not often performed due to its robust orchestration. The concert will also include three other works synonymous with memories of the departed.
