Louisville, KY--- Louisville Film Society (LFS) is thrilled to host their 1st Annual Oscar Party Fundraiser celebrating their 1st event in their new Portland Home on Sunday, March 2! LFS stirs the Oscar “buzz” with a salute to our homegrown stars, Jennifer Lawrence – American Hustle (10 nods, including Best Supporting Actress), George Clooney – Gravity (10 nods) and all past Kentucky Academy Award winners and or nominees!

The 7-year old Louisville Film Society will showcase this fundraiser with complimentary locally grown food by Farm to Fork, locally brewed beer by BBC and West Sixth Brewery (Lexington), crafty cocktails sponsored by Republic National Distribution, party design sponsored by The Events Company, and amazing auction prizes; American Hustle memorabilia, package of locally produced documentaries and other enticing entertaining items! Guests will also have the opportunity to view the new “IT” space and architectural renderings plus learn how they too can be involved in SHOWBIZ!
