It’s a favorite game among tailgates and backyard barbeques, and once again, Kentuckiana residents will have the opportunity to play cornhole for a great cause. Participants in the Louisville Cornhole Cup have the chance to win cash prizes and bragging rights, all while helping Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana provide a “home away from home” for the families of seriously ill children.
The event will be held at The Brown and Williamson Club at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium on November 13, 2011. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the tournament will begin promptly at 1 pm. Players can register online at www.cornholecup.com. The cost per team starts at $20 for the student division, $40 for the recreational division, and $60 for the competitive division. Prizes will be awarded to the top teams of each division, with the competitive division winners garnering cash prizes.
