In 2005 Lord Burlington converted the derelict West wing of his family's home in Ireland, Lismore Castle, into a state-of-the-art contemporary gallery and arts center. Lismore Castle Arts runs a series of lectures, classes and workshops as well as international exhibitions featuring artists such as Matthew Barney, Michael Craig-Martin, Nathalie Djusberg, Ai Wei Wei and Richard Long.
