With over 2,000 in attendance in 2010, the St. Matthews Community is expecting another record breaking crowd for this year’s “Light Up” St. Matthews. On Saturday, December 3, 2011, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, family fun and entertainment, sponsored by the City of St. Matthews and the St. Matthews Area Business Association, will kick off the holiday season with the 21st Annual “Light Up” St. Matthews in Brown Park, located at Brown’s Lane and Bowling Boulevard.
“Light Up” St. Matthews features letters to Santa, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Clause, horse-drawn carriage rides, a petting zoo, pony rides, train rides, Ronald McDonald, strolling carolers, cookies, hot chocolate and cider, and much, much more.
Holiday music and entertainment will be provided by N2It. Brown Park will “Light Up” with tens of thousands of lights at 6:00 pm.

and help us celebrate the holidays as we “Light Up” St. Matthews.
While parking at Brown Park will be limited to handicapped parking on the day of the festival, free parking and trolley service will be provided at the Baptist Hospital East Doctors Office Building, at the corner of Kresge Way and Browns Lane, at St. Matthews Elementary School and Waggener Traditional High School, both on Browns Lane.
