On Friday, March 14th at 7 PM (at our Frankfort Ave store), Carmichael's welcomes three authors : Kristen Simmons, Jenna Black, and Mindee Arnett for a reading from and signing of their newest novels for teens.

Kristen Simmons, who has been to the store to sign her previous books in the series, returns to sign the final installment in the Article 5 dystopian series, "Three." When Ember and Chase finally arrive at the safe house and find it in ruins, they follow tracks leading away until they find a group of refugees and join forces with them to seek the rumored settlement known as Three.

Jenna Black, author of the Fairiewalker and Guardians of the Night series, will sign "Resistance," book #2 in the Replica series. While Nadia and Nate, a teenaged boy who was killed and reanimated by human replication technology, try to restore Nate's original memories, they learn more about the conspiracy and a secret that could change everything.

Mindee Arnett is the author of the thrilling new fantastical mystery series The Arkwell Academy. She will be signing "The Nightmare Dilemma," book #2 in the series. Dusty Everhart might be able to predict the future through the dreams of her crush, Eli Booker, but that doesn't make her life even remotely easy. When one of her mermaid friends is viciously assaulted and left for dead, and the school's jokester, Lance Rathbone, is accused of the crime, Dusty's as shocked as everybody else.
