The sights and sounds of the circus will take over Broadbent Arena at the Kentucky Exposition Center Thursday, Feb. 6 – Sunday, Feb. 9. Celebrating its 89th year, Kosair Shrine Circus combines all the excitement of the circus with its charitable mission at this annual event.
The Kosair Shrine Circus is performed by George Carden Circus International. With more than 50 years of experience, this three-ring production features aerial acts, animal shows and clowns. Ringerleader Audrey Michelle Alvarado has been performing in the circus since she was six years old.
Last year, over 20,000 underprivileged children attended the Kosair Shrine Circus for free. More than 100 charities in Kentucky and Indiana receive tickets. For more information about sponsoring a child, visit http://www.kosaircircus.com/sponsorchild.html.
