The Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft (KMAC), presents the free jazz trio of Peter Brötzmann (saxophone), Hamid Drake (drums), and William Parker (bass) as part of the 2014 KMAC Concert Season. Founded in 1993, The Brötzmann, Drake, Parker Trio is widely regarded as "one of the leading ventures in the history of avant-garde jazz" (all music guide).
The performance is scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2014 and will be held at Dreamland, a new media project space specializing in film, music, lectures and events located at 810 E. Market, Louisville, Kentucky behind Decca restaurant. KMAC is honored to join the Louisville Experimental Festival and The Other Side of Life to bring musicians of this caliber to the city of Louisville.
