Couples facing terminal illness and other serious life-altering circumstances who wish to be married or renew their vows now have the opportunity to have their dreams fulfilled in Louisville. Wish Upon a Wedding is the world’s first nonprofit wedding wish-granting organization. Headquartered in the San Francisco Bay area, with over 25 chapters nationwide, Wish Upon a Wedding allows couples facing such difficult circumstances to be married through the generosity of wedding and hospitality industry professionals.

The newly chartered Kentucky Chapter, based in Louisville will celebrate its official launch tonight, October 6, 2011 at the stunning venue The Gillespie. Guests of the Launch Party will be treated to hors d’oeuvres provided by The Catering Company, beverages by The Gillespie with entertainment by Mike Moody.
