On Friday, June 14th at 7 PM, Carmichael's is happy to host two powerhouses in teen fiction : Katie McGarry and Bethany Griffin.

Bethany Griffin is the author of the bestselling teen novel "Masque of the Red Death" which was nominated as an American Library Association Best Book for Young Adults. Using Edgar Allan Poe's classic 1842 story as her inspiration, Griffin's “Red Death” saga is dark, tragic, and richly layered. She will be reading from and signing the sequel and exciting conclusion to the saga "Dance of the Red Death."

Katie McGarry will be signing her new novel “Dare You To,” the riveting sequel to her bestselling “Pushing the Limits” which was a Summer 2012 Kids’Indie Next Pick, a Goodreads Choice 2012 nominee, and was selected as a 2013 ALA Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Readers.
