Bring your family for free Bike to Beat Cancer finish line children’s activities at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park on Saturday, Sept. 24, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Activities will include a bounce house and obstacle course, caricature portraits, karaoke, magic, the pirate Bubble Truck, face painting and a bike rodeo by the Children’s Hospital Foundation Office of Child Advocacy. Children can also enjoy demonstrations by Hwang’s Martial Arts and visit with mascots Andy the Armadillo (Texas Roadhouse), Truckie (Two Men and a Truck) and Maximillian (Kosair Children’s Hospital/Children’s Hospital Foundation).
The Bike to Beat Cancer is a one day bicycle ride to raise funds for Norton Cancer Institute through the Norton Healthcare Foundation. Cyclists will ride 35, 65 or 100 miles.
