Wourms, Ph.D., Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest At 17,000 square feet, the green roof atop the Mies van der Rohe-designed American Life and Accident Company headquarters is Louisville’s largest. Along with various sedum cultivars, Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest have added three plots to test native plant adaptability to living roof environments
