“Viking knitting” is not actually knitting in the way you might think (i.e. with two needles), but is actually a type of weaving. Chains are made from long pieces of wire (8'-12') that are worked by hand into interconnecting loops.

Joanna Jorgenson specializes in handmade artisan sterling silver jewelry with gemstones and vintage gems. She creates custom sterling silver promise rings, wedding sets, and commitment rings. Each piece of jewelry is made start to finish by her in her studio by her hand using traditional gold-smithing fabrication techniques.
