Introduction to Meditation is a 6-week class introducing meditation as a secular (non-religious) practice to support your health and well-being. The practices introduced are geared towards reducing stress, anxiety, and emotional reactivity, accessing inner wisdom, supporting the immune system, and promoting optimal function of the body and mind. Meditation can help those with chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, arthritis, anxiety and/or depression, cancer patients and survivors, or anyone looking to utilize meditation as a means to promote and support his or her own well being and enjoyment of life.
