The Frankfort Avenue corridor is home to more than 90 woman-owned businesses and service providers. To celebrate the accomplishments of these women, and ALL women, the Frankfort Avenue Business Association (FABA) will honor International Women’s Day with two events that are free and open to the public.
A reception will be held on Friday, March 7th beginning at 6:00pm at Paul Hat Work’s, 1319 Story Avenue, where Frankfort Avenue women business owners will share their experiences, followed by a short discussion and Q&A session. At 7:30pm, FABA will publicly recognize 9th District Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh for her outstanding service and contributions to the community, and then the networking portion of the evening will begin. Complimentary refreshments will be served and attendees can enter to win a basket of Frankfort Avenue goodies.
