5K Run through the Louisville Zoo begins at 8:00am on Saturday, October 15, 2011. Enjoy an autumn morning run or walk through the beautiful grounds of the Louisville Zoo among giraffes, monkeys, elephants and more...all in support of the little angels at our unique school. After the event, stay on the Zoo grounds to enjoy the exhibits, all for no extra charge! Registration starts at 7:15am and Race begins promptly at 8:00am. The 5K Walk will begin at 8:45am. Immaculata Classical Academy is a non-profit private school located in Louisville, Kentucky that provides a rigorous classical curriculum for children, grades PreK-8. Along with providing for the academic needs of typical children, our nationally unique program also provides a setting where children with special needs, particularly Down Syndrome, are incorporated into the regular classroom and are challenged to reach their full intellectual and personal potential through modified curriculum and one-on-one tutoring.
