Forks and knives - instead of leather jackets and chains - will be the accessories of choice on November 20 at an event that celebrates the legacy and birthday of former Louisville resident Edwin Hubble while raising funds for a planetarium-sponsored science program at Bloom Elementary School. Feast on (g)astronomical delights such as Lilly's Crescent Moon Caramelized Onion Tart and Hanger Steak with Jedi Sauce and Death Star Gnocchi. Enjoy specialty cocktails like the Cosmic Cosmopolitan, the Guinness Black Hole and Hubble's Bubbles.
Educators will be on hand during peak dining hours to chat with any diners that are interested in knowing more about Hubble's contributions to space exploration. After dinner, patrons can feast their eyes on delectable morsels in the sky as they join members of the Louisville Astronomical Society who will have telescopes set up on the sidewalk in front of Lilly's, weather permitting.
Reservations are recommended but not required: 502-451-0447.
