The Historic Homes Foundation is pleased to announce that it will host, along with media sponsor Garden & Gun magazine, the 34th annual Historic Homes Foundation DERBY BREAKFAST. Tickets include a sumptuous upscale breakfast feat featuring country ham, roasted chicken, beef tenderloin, Kentucky smoked bacon and sausage patties, fresh spring asparagus, roasted herb red skin potatoes, fresh seasonal fruit and berries, a lavish bakery display including muffins, croissants, coffee cakes, bread sticks and French bread and an array of tempting desserts to include bourbon banana pudding, raspberry and lemon bars and mint julep and Oaks Lilly cupcakes. The Derby Breakfast's open bar will offer favorite Derby cocktails, as well as fresh juices and coffee.
Guests will also enjoy an exclusive silent auction and live Bluegrass music performed by The Porch Possums. Additionally, a one-of-a-kind cabin made by Longwood Antique Woods from Lexington, Kentucky and constructed using 200 year old repurposed Kentucky wood will have been built on-site especially for the Derby Breakfast. The cabin will be available for purchase and will be open for exploration by guests attending the event.
