Are you intrigued by tattoos but wary about their permanence? Henna (Mehndi) body art is a safe, natural and temporary form of adornment originating in India, North Africa, and the Middle East. This new class explores the 5000-year-old history and cultural traditions of this art form. Learn how to mix and apply henna using basic design techniques. You’ll also learn about the dangers of “black henna.” The instructor will apply a small henna design on attendees who desire one.
