Hayswood Theatre in Corydon, IN, is proud to announce its production of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical “The King and I,” live on the Winston Stage.

Set in 1860′s in the country of Siam, the King of Siam attempts to bring Western culture to his court by engaging English schoolteacher Anna Leonowens to teach the royal princes and princesses. Political unrest and intrigue within Siam causes Anna to suggest to the King that they entertain in grand style, hosting a European dinner and ball for high ranking British men and women who will be visiting the King’s court.

The show runs July 18 – August 3 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the Blaine H. Wiseman Visitor Center (812) 738-2138. Adult tickets are $14 and seniors 65+ and children 17 and under are $12.
