Hard rock road warriors Halestorm are slated to make their Mercury Ballroom debut on Nov. 18 in continued support of the Pennsylvania’s quartet’s 2013 smash CD The Strange Case of….., an ear-catching, chart-topping disc that contains the searing blockbuster singles Freak Like Me and Love Bites (So Do I).
Halestorm lead singer Lizzy Hale’s incendiary vocal performance on Love Bites (So Do I) enabled the band to notch a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance - the first time a female-fronted act won in that category. Along with heading up one of the hottest metal outfits around, Hale, 29, also is one of the most sought-after vocalists with guest appearances on several recordings and on television, the most recent of which was last Monday when she appeared on ABC-TV’s Good Morning America with Lindsey Sterling as they performed Stirling’s recent hit Shatter Me.
In addition to their two-month, headlining jaunt that begins Nov. 11 in Chattanooga, Tn., Halestrom will be touring this fall with country idol Eric Church. The group’s next CD is expected to drop at the end of the year.
Tickets for this all-ages concert are $25 in advance, $27 day of show. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. – Showtime is 8:30 p.m. Additional fees added to all tickets at time of purchase. Tickets may be purchased at www.mercuryballroom.com or at The Louisville Palace Box Office,
625 South Fourth Street
