Vivian Knox-Thompson will open her latest art exhibit at Gadabout Gallery and Artisan Shoppe on September 19, 2014. The exhibit, titled “Shadow Play” features black and white photography capturing emotive portraits of dogs.

Knox-Thompson says, “There is no hidden agenda with a dog, only a pure and unselfish spirit willing to share its very soul with you. This is the feeling I try to capture with my lens... the play of light and shadow to reveal the depth of each dog's magnificent spirit.”

Knox-Thompson currently resides in Clarksville, Indiana but has lived and worked in London, New York, California and Florida.

The opening reception will be held in conjunction with Hops, Shops and Chardonnay, a regional beer and wine sampling event in “hipstoric” downtown Jeffersonville, Indiana. A ticket is required to participate in the beer and wine sampling in local shops, but all are invited to enjoy the artwork, live music and unique shopping experiences in the area.
