The Fried Chicken Throw Down will be the closing event at ReSurfaced, concluding a six-week run of activities since the pop-up plaza was initiated on September 19th. The ReSurfaced movement is meant to illustrate the economic potential and benefit of incrementally activating currently unproductive spaces while creating a more vibrant downtown.

This culinary competition will award cash prizes of $500 to the Best Chicken and $500 to the Best Side, and the winners will be selected by ballot voting among the attendees.
