Country music singer/songwriter Frankie Ballard is riding high thanks to his immediate classic Helluva Life, which scaled Billboard’s country airplay chart earlier this year. Ballard, 31, has followed up Helluva Life with a summertime smash Sunshine & Whiskey, the title track to his hit sophomore album.

“My bread and butter is playing live,” Ballard says. “I’m always trying to push myself to the next level with my stage performance.”
