
Frank Bill is the author of the critically acclaimed short story collection 'Crimes in Southern Indiana,' which was named one of the best books of 2011 by the editors at GQ and one of the year's top crime fiction books by the Paris Review. His first novel, 'Donnybrook,' which centers around a bare-knuckles boxing tournament in southern Indiana, will be released in late February or early March of next year. He is also working on a screenplay based on the novel.
Frank Bill will be at Second Story Books in the Highlands on Friday, September 7, at 7:30 p.m., to read a short story from his newest collection, which will also run in the October issue of Louisville Magazine.
