Although the Great Steamboat Race has been postponed, it's still full steam ahead for an after-party originally planned for the evening of the race. Four Roses Bourbon has extended the hours of its "Social at the Silks" event, now starting earlier and running 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4 at Jockey Silks Bourbon Bar at Galt House West.  The event will include hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

“Social at the Silks” will provide guests the opportunity to meet Four Roses Master Distiller Jim Rutledge and purchase a bottle of the 2011 Great Steamboat Race bourbon while supplies last.
