Kosair Kid® and Louisville Metro Councilman David James and wife, Michelle, are hosting the 2nd annual Fountain for Youth Red Carpet Fashion Show at the Sam Swope Kosair Charities Centre on Eastern Parkway. This black tie event will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and drinks provided by Vincenzo’s Italian Restaurant, Brown Forman, and Old 502 Winery beginning at 7:00pm. From 8:00-10:00pm, guests will enjoy a fashion show with models who are leaders in the local community. All proceeds from The Fountain for Youth Red Carpet Fashion Show will go directly to Kosair Charities. David and Michelle chose Kosair Charities as the sole beneficiary because they sincerely believe in our mission. As a young boy, David wore braces on his legs. He fondly remembers the compassion both he and his mother, who was in a wheelchair, were treated at Kosair Crippled Children Hospital. Now, David wants to give back to Kosair Charities by helping fellow Kosair Kids®. The Fountain for Youth Red Carpet Fashion Show will financially assist Kosair Charities in continuing to support over 90 children’s agencies in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
