It’s time to think spring and plan now for the eighth annual Forest Fest Bluegrass Music Festival featuring the award-winning Grascals. Admission is free; parking is $5 per carload. Forest Fest offers something for all ages including the best local,regional and national bluegrass music talent, plenty of good food, and arts and crafts.  Music begins at 11 a.m. Along with the music, local crafters and artisans offer a unique display and sale of exquisite crafts.

Kids enjoy family games, face painting, nature activities and a forest scavenger hunt led by Metro Parks Events teams and the Jefferson Memorial Forest program staff

Forest Fest is made possible with the support of Louisville Metro Council members. Councilwoman Vicki Welch is again the presenting sponsor. The City Council believes it is important to provide our community with great family friendly entertainment that brings us all together.  Other sponsors are WFPK and Cemex Kosmos Cement Company.
