This local initiative is the latest addition to Louisville’s growing “re-purpose” and buy local movements. Though similar to markets in progressive cities like Brooklyn, NY or Portland, OR , this monthly bazaar represents our unique Louisvillian culture.
It is designed to provide opportunity to those who may have marketable items but no budget for shop space, alongside local independent businesses. It also offers the members of our Louisville community an opportunity to come together, mix and mingle, buy, sell, and trade – all in a unique and festive atmosphere with local cuisine, craft brews, seasonal cocktails, live music, and entertainments for the whole family.
The Flea Off Market will feature a local food fair this month, Holy Mole & Olivers Smokin Barbeque are just some of the food vendors who will be serving up toothsome delights. Hopes are to have a growing local food fair every month with an emphasis on farm fresh ingredients.
As usual the August market will feature have dozens of vendors and collectors offering a wide range of goods and wares for “re-purpose” including: books, records, bicycles, antiques, vintage motor items, cool old junk, used tools, and other curiosities. There will also be plants, soaps, local fine arts and crafts ,farm-fresh goods, live music, performing arts, pet adoptions, magic and more!
Your local record show D.J.'s will be spinning Soul & classics. Live Music from Trappers Keepers and other local independent musicians
