Flame Run art glass studio will showcase the work of artist teams in “Odd Couples” from Sept. 26 through Nov. 18.  An opening night reception begins at 6 p.m. Oct. 7.

Unlike other art mediums, the heat and physical demands of glass art often make it necessary for glass artists to work in teams. The exhibit, which includes works by artists working together for the first time as well as long-time partners, will explore what happens when such collaborations are formalized.

“Everybody has a slightly different style, so by bringing artists together, you marry techniques and styles and different points of view about glass,” said Tiffany Ackerman, the Gallery Manager.
