Jump the tracks and head over to our Butchertown building this Friday Night for Linda Akers new show: Industrial Athletes.
Color and character fill Linda's canvases like whimsical single panel stories universally understood by us all. Join us upstairs
to share Linda's latest compositions!
We are also proud to introduce new artist, Sinclair Watkins to the space. Her abstracted, fashion based charcoal drawings
are an investigation of how we present and alter our appearances. These pieces are a perfect fit and welcome addition to
our current repertoire.
Also opening this First Friday in our first floor foyer; The Kentucky School of Art UAM (Underground Artist Movement) club
will be presenting new work from student artists: Brittney Hauck, Em Rowan, Kyle Sherrard, Edward Taylor, and Arielle Biddix.
We look forward to supporting this group as they dive into their first gallery show!
International artist Brigitte Polemis joins the Tim Faulkner Gallery roster with her unique linear artistic style. Her multi-dimensional
wall hangings depict the familiar in an unfamiliar way, with layers of painstakingly printed plexi-glass. Her process allows the viewer
to step inside the scenes she creates and invites them to explore images from a completely new perspective.
New work from Patrick Thompson in our first floor orange room and fresh work throughout the entire building.
cherryredevents will be on hand with their famous chili and a full bar!
