Ferdinand's Ball is an annual fundraiser created in hone or Ferdinand, the 1986 Kentucky Derby Winner. This kick-off to Derby Weekend is a unique gala that features celebrity hosts and guests, live entertainment, gourmet foods and dreinks from our premium open bar, a silent auction, breathtaking riverfront and downtown views, and so much more.

Old Friends is a 501c3 non profit, donation based farm that rehabilitates thoroughbreds whose racing and breeding careers have come to an end. Every year, more than 20,000 visitors come face-to-face with these gentle legends and leave inspired by both their wins and by their often tragic but miraculous rescues. By promoting these once celebrated horses through a campaign of education and tourism, they raise awareness for all equines in need.
