Darnell "Super Chef" Ferguson is now filling limited spots for his exclusive Father's Day cooking classes to be held at the St. Matthews Seafood Connection June 15th and 16th.
Chef Ferguson will be leading a supervised two hour cooking class, focusing on chic Father's Day seafood dishes.
The chef plans to show class attendees how to prepare, cook, and serve several seafood themed dishes, and one special dessert.
Ferguson said,"[We] will be doing a smoked salmon brochette, a blackend shrimp salad, and a 'Surf and Turf' dinner with a pan-seared sea scollop scampi, paired with chicken & steak kabobs. Desert will be cinnamon-sugar beignets."
The class is geared towards food lovers of all ages and skill levels. Everything needed will be provided.
Darnell Ferguson, also known as "Super Chef", is a 23-year-old father, executive chef, and founder of Cookingin10.com.
Ferguson was recruited out of high school by Sullivan University, one of the top culinary schools in the nation. Darnell graduated one of the top chefs in his class.
At 21 years of age, Ferguson says he was honored to travel to China as an Olympic Chef in the 2008 Summer Olympics.
"Super Chef'" has done it all. He has cooked for professional and Olympic athletes, government officials, and even former President of the United States, George H. Bush.
There are two available sessions:
Wednesday June 15, @ 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Thursday June 16, @ 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
