On Thursday, April 24th at 7 PM at The Clifton Center (2117 Payne Street), Carmichael's Bookstore welcomes University of Kentucky Wildcats coach John Calipari for a discussion and signing of his new book, "Players First : Coaching from the Inside Out." In "Players First," Coach Cal relates for the first time anywhere his experiences over his first four years coaching the Kentucky Wildcats from the doldrums to a national championship, drawing lessons about leadership, character, and the path to personal and collective victory. The evening will include an on-stage interview between Coach Calipari and Kentucky Sports Radio's Matt Jones, a few questions from the audience and a book signing.

This is a TICKETED EVENT. Tickets are $30.00 which gets you admission to the event at The Clifton Center, one copy of Calipari's new book, "Players First," and a designated place in the book-signing line based on the letter on your ticket stub.

Tickets can be purchased through our website (www.carmichaelsbookstore.com) or at either Carmichael's location.

Seating at the event will be general admission---no reserved seats.

"Players First" will be published on April 15, 2014. You can pick up your book at the event or at Carmichael's between April 15th and April 24th. Additional copies of "Players First," will be available for purchase at the event.
