With snow falling steadily in Michigan, classical folk band Doug Mains & the City Folk is headed to Louisville as part of their “South for Winter” tour. On Jan. 24 at 10 p.m., head to Hideaway Saloon, 1607 Bardstown Road, to see the band perform their unique blend of folksy roots and classical undertones. The band will layer vocal harmonies with acoustic guitar, cello, violin, accordion, upright bass and percussion to deliver an engaging and dynamic live performance alongside Nashville artist Sarah Lou Richards.
